About the role

Make a difference across Western NSW Local Health District.

Are you a proactive and organised professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and building strong working relationships? Join Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) in a varied and rewarding role where you can make a visible contribution across our diverse network of health facilities and services.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of business areas, collaborating with operational teams, corporate services, government agencies, suppliers and external stakeholders to deliver practical outcomes. From identifying opportunities for improvement to coordinating solutions and seeing actions through to completion, your work will help support the effective management of our District’s property, assets and business operations.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a motivated and solutions-focused professional with sound judgement, strong attention to detail and the initiative to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. Your communication and relationship-building skills will help you work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, while your organisational skills will keep projects, reporting and day-to-day activities on track.

Experience in property, asset management, finance, procurement, capital works or a similar large public sector environment will be highly regarded. You’ll also bring capabilities in systems and data management, financial analysis and reporting, project support, governance, audit coordination and maintaining accurate records and registers.

What you’ll do

No two days will be quite the same. You could be reviewing priorities and action registers, maintaining property and asset information, responding to enquiries, analysing costs, preparing reports or coordinating actions with suppliers and internal teams.

You’ll take the lead on leasing and property matters, with opportunities to contribute to procurement activities, projects, audits, governance requirements and system improvements. The role combines planned work and regular reporting with opportunities to investigate issues, solve problems and deliver timely, practical solutions.

Enjoy variety and flexibility

If you enjoy a role that keeps you engaged, challenges you to think critically and gives you the opportunity to build connections across a large and diverse organisation, this could be the opportunity for you.

Ordinary hours: Flexible start and finish times between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, with flexible working arrangements available for negotiation.

Bring your skills, initiative and ideas to a role where your contribution can make a real difference across Western NSW Local Health District.
