About the role


Are you a dynamic problem solver who thrives on bringing projects and programs to life? Do you have a talent for juggling multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders engaged and outcomes on track? If so, we want you on our team! 


As a Project Officer with the Workforce Operational Strategic Unit, you’ll assist in the delivery of complex projects and programs including the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme and the Tertiary Health Study Subsidy Program. This includes delivering outcomes on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.


You’ll build strong relationships, network, manage risks, ensure continuity, and provide expert advice – all while making a tangible impact!

This role is a Health Manager Level 2, salary from $109,857 to $129,624 plus Super, with a 38-[AH3] hour work week. We support hybrid working with at least 3 days in the office.


What you will do

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate project and program outcomes to ensure business continuity
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, often working with other operational contacts across the NSW Health system
  • Identify risks, monitor progress, develop continuous improvements, and ensure quality outcomes
  • Provide expert advice and insights to support decision-making
