About the Opportunity

We have multiple opportunities available for a Project Manager in our Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA) team. In this role you will help make a real difference in healthcare through leading complex projects that support the delivery of the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) across NSW Health.

This role offers the opportunity to drive high-impact initiatives that enable digital transformation in the healthcare system. You will work across clinical, technical, and operational teams to align project priorities and outcomes, using methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid approaches.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale projects within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across NSW Health to coordinate priorities, manage risks, and drive project success within defined timelines and budgets

  • Engage with senior leaders through clear, timely communication and progress reporting

  • Foster a positive, high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and meaningful outcomes

  • Support major sourcing initiatives and vendor performance improvement projects that align with business needs

  • Build strong supplier relationships, resolve issues, and assess vendor performance against quality, cost, and delivery standards

  • Develop reports and insights on project performance to inform decision-making and continuous improvement

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong track record in delivering complex ICT projects in service-based or healthcare environments, particularly those involving hospital redevelopments, refurbishments or clinical relocations

  • Holds recognised project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) and can adapt methods as needed

  • Brings exceptional planning, stakeholder engagement and risk management skills

  • Communicates clearly and confidently with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving team and remains solution-focused under pressure

  • Knowledge of system integrations is desirable but not essential
