About the role:
With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the millions of ways we’re enhancing health and wellness while developing your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.

You will be working with InforMH - A team responsible for data development, collection, analysis and reporting for NSW public mental health and suicide related services, and the analysis and reporting of data from the NSW Suicide Monitoring System (SuMS). In this position of Project Manager Clinical Measurement and Benchmarking, you will work within a passionate team to directly support the NSW Health system and its services. You will play an active role in assisting clinicians, services and the Ministry in understanding and using data to support service operations and performance, make informed decisions, and improve care and service delivery.  

Health Manager Level 3 starting salary from $132,236- $150,222 per annum (pro rata) plus Super, with a 15.2-22.8 - hour work week.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading project management of assigned projects, activities, and portfolios.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and facilitating forums on varied topics with available data and for varied purposes, such as service improvement, evaluations and research.
  • Providing direct support to LHDs/SHNs through benchmarking and providing consultancy to services on data, documentation, and service development.
  • Providing, interpreting and communicating data to support specific queries and requests from LHDs/SHNs and NSW Ministry of Health.


About you:
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a clinical or health management area. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management fundamentals and experience in managing projects in a healthcare environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret, explain and present health service data in a way that meets the needs of a variety of audiences. 
  • Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills for consultation, negotiation and analytical/problem solving, to effectively manage interactions with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated high level of understanding of state and national policies, structures, and responsibilities relevant to mental health services.
