Join our team at Sutherland Hospital as a Level 1-2 Podiatrist in a flexible temporary role (full or part-time).
This position offers valuable exposure to a broad clinical caseload in high risk foot management. This is inclusive of total contact casting, in-depth vascular assessment and an MDT alongside Vascular, Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.
If high risk is not your area of choice, there is an aged care caseload available.

Selection Criteria:
1. Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated core competency skills in wound care, diabetes, biomechanics, general podiatry assessment and management and foot care education.
3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to proactively engage with patients throughout service delivery.
4. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.
5. Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems.
6. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
