About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
Provide specialist services to Physiotherapy and senior clinical leadership within Physiotherapy. Level 4 Senior Clinicians provide advice to service managers on clinical service delivery and development, practice and re design. A Level 4 Senior Clinician will have the ability to assist and provide guidance to service managers in the development of clinical services in response to demand and client needs. Level 4 Senior Clinicians make a contribution to education activities related to their area of expertise.
This is a 4 month winter position working 10 hour, evening shifts on weekends in the RPAH Emergency Department. The successful applicant will have demonstrated significant clinical knowledge and skills in Emergency Physiotherapy, particularly in the Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic clinical areas. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team are also essential.

Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor or post graduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and current registration with AHPRA.
- Advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Physiotherapy.
- Experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
