About the Role

Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.

  

Applications are invited for this 6-month temporary, full time Physiotherapist, level 4 position to work in Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis at RPA Hospital. The successful applicant will have demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skills in Respiratory Physiotherapy and have post graduate clinical experience in acute inpatient work and Respiratory outpatients and clinics. Extensive experience in the clinical management of Cystic Fibrosis patients is preferred. Ability to work as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, as well as independently is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently holds a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and current registration with AHPRA.

  • Has excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
