Where you'll be working
Rankin Park Centre is a leading 40 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located on the John Hunter Hospital campus in New Lambton, Newcastle.  We provide specialised rehabilitation for patients following stroke, brain injury, amputations, deconditioning, and a range of neurological and complex medical conditions.  Our service also offers a dynamic outpatient rehabilitation program.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist Level 1/2 to join our supportive multidisciplinary team.  This role includes delivering high quality physiotherapy within both inpatient rehabilitation wards and outpatient services, through individual therapy, group exercise programs, and education classes.

What you'll be doing
As our newest Physiotherapist, you will be delivering patient centred, evidence-informed physiotherapy to support functional recovery and independence.

This includes, providing therapy in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation environments, facilitating group exercise and education classes tailored to patient needs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement effective rehabilitation programs and demonstrating strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting. Comprehensive support will be provided to the successful candidate, including on-the-job upskilling from experienced senior clinicians. Ongoing professional development is actively encouraged, with access to additional education and training opportunities, including attendance at training programs across other HNE Health facilities such as Maitland and John Hunter Hospitals.

Requirements: 

  • Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA. Please upload a copy of your qualification/s with your CV.
