We are seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to lead clinical care within our acute respiratory ward while playing a pivotal role in developing the next generation of clinicians.
 

In this role, you will manage a dynamic caseload, supervise student placements, and coordinate acute placement planning, including Clinconnect and invoicing responsibilities. You will also collaborate with universities, support undergraduate clinical education, and contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of placement experiences across NBMLHD.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Degree in Physiotherapy and National Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA.
  2. Significant postgraduate experience as a Physiotherapist including substantial experience in Cardiorespiratory and acute care Physiotherapy.
  3. Demonstrated substantial experience in staff and student supervision.
  4. Demonstrated significant teaching skills and experience with staff & students.
  5. Demonstrated substantial commitment to professional development, quality improvement and Evidence Based Practice.
  6. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication and time management skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to provide advice to service managers on Physiotherapy clinical service development, practice and design in response to demands and client / stakeholder needs.
  8. Demonstrated experience in student placement planning and organisation.
