Where you'll be working
Armidale Rural Referral Hospital (ARRH) is a major regional hospital in the New England region and is part of the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD). Our pharmacy service delivers high-quality, patient-focused care across a range of clinical settings including inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and specialist units. By joining our team, you'll contribute to improving patient outcomes and supporting safe, effective medication management within the hospital and broader community.
Working in Armidale offers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed regional lifestyle while contributing to the health and wellbeing of the local community. You'll be part of a committed, close-knit team that values collaboration, education, and innovation in healthcare.

What you'll be doing
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy service. Your key responsibilities will include managing the supply of pharmaceuticals to inpatient wards through imprest systems, supporting the purchasing and inventory control of medications, and assisting in the dispensing of prescriptions within both inpatient and outpatient settings. You'll work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment focused on excellence in patient care.
