About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
 
An opportunity exists for suitable candidates to join the dynamic Pharmacy Department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a Pharmacy Porter. This role sits under the direction of the Deputy Director of Pharmacy and works daily with the Senior Pharmacist, Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting pharmacy and other treatment related products to clinical care areas throughout the facility several times daily. It is anticipated that this role will transition to report to the General Porter Manager in the near future with an expanded scope to include other general hospital portering tasks. Onsite Work Health and Safety training on the safe handling of these items and will be provided.

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital provides a comprehensive range of clinical services to the residents of Sydney Local Health District and has specialised areas of practice in Renal and Hepatic organ transplant, Haematology and stem cell transplant, cardiology and specialised surgery. The pharmacy department also provides a clinical trials, outpatient and production unit service.
