What you'll be doing
As a Pharmacy Aide, you will provide technical and operational support to the Department of Pharmacy to ensure medications and pharmaceutical products are distributed safely, efficiently and in line with legislative and hospital requirements.
⢠Deliver medications and pharmaceutical supplies across hospital wards and departments
⢠Assist with dispensing, distribution and production support activities
⢠Maintain safe medication handling practices in line with policies and procedures
⢠Contribute to quality assurance activities and key performance initiatives
⢠Participate in rostered overtime, weekend and on call services as required

Demonstrated good communication skills
Demonstrated experience in delivery of heavy goods on a regular basis.
Demonstrated ability to carry out all physical tasks/manual handling of pushing, pulling, lifting many boxes up to 15kg/box, loading trolleys up to 300kg frequently as listed in Physical Demands Checklist.
Demonstrated satisfactory computer skills.
Demonstrated experience in stock control.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise large workload and have good time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as working cooperatively in a team environment.
Must be willing and able to work late shifts and overtime on weekends as required.
