Where you'll be working:
Clinical Trials Pharmacists are based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital (CRGH), and work within the Investigative Drugs (Clinical Trials) Pharmacy under the CRGH Pharmacy Department. CRGH is a recognised leader in clinical trials and research, and the progressive application of evidence-based therapies. As part of the Sydney Local Health District, the hospital has strong links to local and international research networks. You’ll be part of a dynamic team committed to advancing drug therapies through innovation, collaboration, and clinical excellence in a state-of-the-art facility.
What you'll be doing:
We are seeking a motivated pharmacist to join the Concord Hospital Clinical Trials Pharmacy team. This role supports the safe and effective management of investigational medicines, with the Clinical Trials Pharmacy unit overseeing a diverse portfolio of exciting studies, in areas including, cardiology, nephrology, haematology and oncology. Working closely with multidisciplinary research teams, you will ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements while contributing to innovative, patient-focused research in a leading tertiary hospital setting.
- Current pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and able to practice independently.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to apply current and good practical therapeutic knowledge in a clinical environment and ongoing commitment to the professional development relevant to areas of practice.
Highly developed understanding of the priorities and requirements of hospital pharmacy.
