This role is based within Cancer Services Pharmacy Unit at Westmead Hospital. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting the inpatients, outpatients and community of the hospital.

What you'll be doing
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support quality cancer care at Westmead Hospital as part of the Cancer Services Pharmacy team, delivering essential pharmaceutical services across multiple settings and clinical trials.
Daily your responsibilities will involve:
Providing pharmacy services to inpatients, outpatients, and the community
Working under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator
Ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing
Supporting patient care through clinical pharmacy input
Contributing to high standards in cancer treatment delivery

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g Bachelor of Pharmacy
Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated excellent and effective communication skills.
Demonstrated experience and skills in providing pharmaceutical services to ensure safe use of medicines, especially in the area of Cancer Care Services.
Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice.
Demonstrated excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Willing and able to participate in sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and teaching activities.
Willing to work on weekends, on-call as per departmental rosters.
