Health Education Officer Graduate: $36.04 - $57.59
Health Education Officer Non-Graduate: $31.51 - $45.57

What you'll be doing
The mental health peer workforce is centred on a recovery philosophy which requires that services demonstrate hope for consumers recovery, respect their experience, support their self-determination, identify and work toward collaborative goals or needs and promote their social inclusion.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Personal experience of mental health services.
- Experience in a peer support worker or consumer advocate role.
- Demonstrated commitment to consumer led recovery principles of mental health.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
- Able and willing to share aspects of your personal treatment and recovery experience with others individually or in a group setting. This provides a role model for recovery, support and understanding for other consumers.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including competent computer literacy. Using Microsoft Office software and the electronic medical record.
- Current NSW drivers licence.
