How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
- Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated understanding of principles, systems and processes related to patient flow and discharge planning
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to lead a team with a demonstrated commitment to person centred leadership with a sound understanding of patient flow KPIs associated with patient flow within both Emergency Departments, inpatient and outpatient services.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of quality and safety processes, including the ability to analyse patterns and trends within new or unique sets of data.
- Display a high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication to function effectively part of the leadership team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services.
- Proven experience is leading change, using real time data to optimise timely access to care.
- Demonstrated experience to manage diverse, time critical competing clinical and non priorities.
- Hold a current NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel and stay overnight as required in the role.
