Remuneration: $32.77 - $59.89 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
As a Pacific Health Worker, you’ll play a vital role in bridging the gap between Pacific communities and health services, delivering tailored support and education that promotes wellbeing and access to care.
- Provide assertive case management, advocacy, and health education
- Develop and deliver culturally appropriate health programs and resources
- Facilitate referrals and transport assistance to improve service access
- Build strong partnerships with local agencies and community groups
- Support community development initiatives and early intervention strategies

Essential Criteria:
- License: Driver's licence valid in NSW
- Qualification: HEO Graduate/non graduate - Relevant qualification in social sciences, health or related field
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant qualifications in social sciences, health or related field – to be considered under graduate classification.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Pacific communities and have established links with Pacific communities or demonstrated capacity to build linkages.
- Demonstrated understanding of health issues that affect Pacific communities and strategies to improve health outcomes for Pacific people.
- Demonstrated knowledge and / or experience in developing, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating culturally appropriate health education / health promotion / community development programs and initiatives to Pacific communities.
- Demonstrated experience and/or abilities in building and maintaining successful partnerships with relevant partners including government and non-government organisations and community based organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team with excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer skills with experience in a range of Microsoft applications.
- Current Drivers Licence valid within New South Wales and the willingness and ability to travel.
