About the role:
Murrumbidgee Local Health District are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Oral Health Therapist to join us in this exciting position.
As an Oral Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:
Providing evidence based clinical care to patients, within your scope of practice and legislative and regulatory frameworks, resulting in quality care and a contemporary approach to dental procedures and patient care.
Delivering oral health promotion and preventative programs
Utilising clinical tools, equipment and applications
Maintaining accurate and appropriate clinical records, including paper based and electronic records
Communicating with patients/carers ensuring consistent care and maximised health outcomes
Encouraging good and positive working relationships with co-workers so that care is provided in a harmonious team environment.
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (until 10 April 2028)
Position Classification: Oral Health Therapist – Level 1-2
Remuneration: $76,364.00 - $108,943.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)
Hours Per Week: up to 32

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
Current NSW Working with Children Check
Willingness to travel as part of the role
Sound clinical and diagnostic skills
Understanding of and commitment to a preventative/ population health approach to patient care
Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of individuals
