What you'll be doing
We are seeking a dedicated Oral Health Practitioner to deliver high-quality oral health care and education to eligible patients in Western Sydney. This role primarily involves working in a mobile dental van and may include fixed clinic locations.
- Provide general oral health care and education.
- Operate in a mobile dental van and portable settings.
- Engage with schools, hospitals, and residential homes.
- Participate in oral health promotion and population health initiatives.
- Work on a roster, Monday to Saturday.

Essential Criteria
- Registration: Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Oral Health Therapist, dual trained Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist or singularly trained Dental Therapist.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated sound clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public.
- A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative / population health approach to patient care.
- A demonstrated ability to work within a large team and independently.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
- This role is required to take shared responsibility for safe driving of the Mobile Dental Van or up to 4.5 Tonne truck between locations across Western Sydney and back to the base location and also help in transporting and setting up (assembling and dismantling) of portable dental equipment. Do you hold a current NSW drivers licence C (Car) and are you willing to drive the Mobile Dental Van or up to 4.5 Tonne truck and assist in assembling and dismantling the mobile dental clinic on an as needs basis?
