What you'll be doing
In this pivotal leadership role, you will shape and deliver strategic and operational outcomes across medical workforce recruitment, governance and service delivery.
Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, credentialing and contract management for medical staff
Provide expert advisory services on workforce governance, compliance and performance management
Drive continuous improvement across recruitment, credentialing and workforce systems
Partner with clinicians and executives to ensure alignment with legislation, policy and awards
Manage budgets, reporting and major workforce projects with autonomy and impact

Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated substantial experience in senior level management in a large diverse service industry organisation with a preference given to healthcare organisations.
Demonstrated superior, high-level communication and relationship management skills applicable to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Competency to make complex judgements and management decisions whilst taking initiative within delegated level of responsibility.
Demonstrated high level policy research, development, implementation, review and evaluation and proven capacity to interpret industrial agreements, Awards, and legislation.
Strategic and innovative thinking, demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement to meet the current and future demands of the LHD, the specialist medical practitioner and dentist workforce and the community the LHD serves.
Superior process facilitation and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to objectively analyse current practices, identify improvement opportunities and taking appropriate action to change standard practices and processes.
Demonstrated experience managing staff and resources to produce optimal outcomes within budget.
