You'll be primarily based at the Wallsend Health Campus, with programs delivered across multiple sites including John Hunter Hospital, the Royal Newcastle Centre, Rankin Park Hospital, and community locations.

Our team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and allied health assistants, all committed to the shared goal: Supporting stroke survivors and their carers to live well after stroke.

About the role:

In this rewarding position, you’ll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver group programs focusing on fatigue and mood management for stroke survivors. • Participating in regular team discussions and service improvement initiatives

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on clients’ confidence, function and independence in a community-based setting.

About you:

You will need:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience or interest in group facilitation and stroke care
  • The ability to work independently and contribute meaningfully to a team environment
  • A current, unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence and the ability to travel as required
