About the Role
You will be based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has provided outstanding healthcare for more than 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the veteran community, the hospital now delivers a broad range of specialist and general health services to the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas.
The Imaging Nursing Unit Manager role is responsible for the operational management and leadership of nursing/ staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient and family centred care and nursing and or midwifery excellence at unit/ward level.
The Imaging Nursing Unit Manager Level 2 responsibilities in relation to patient services, ward or unit management and staff management are in excess of those of a Nursing Unit Manager Level 1.

Ideal Candidate
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in management and/or speciality, or working towards attainment in same or extensive clinical experience in the field that demonstrates ability to perform the role.
- Current unencumbered Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in rostering; managing skill mix and care delivery models according to patient/service need.
- Proficient problem solving skills and experience in performance management
