About the Role
Tamworth Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Perioperative Service as Nurse Unit Manager – Pre-Admission Clinic (PAC). This leadership role is worked Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and reports directly to the Nurse Manager, Perioperative Services.
In this role, you will lead and support a small, dedicated and friendly PAC team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient and patient-centred pre-admission care. You will oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic, contribute to service planning and improvement, and work closely with perioperative teams to support safe and effective surgical pathways.
You will be well supported by the Nurse Manager and the PAC team, with a comprehensive orientation provided and ongoing opportunities for education and professional development encouraged.
