This is an exciting opportunity to obtain experience and lead a great team of nurses and allied health professionals and a supportive and innovative team to provide quality care to consumers aged 65 years or older with mental illness in an inpatient setting.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel as required in role
  2. Recent clinical experience in Mental Health Nursing or management.
  3. Relevant tertiary qualification in management or equivalent work experience, or a combination of both with a demonstrated commitment to professional development
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of mental health services
  5. Proven ability in innovative clinical service delivery, harm minimisation and practice development
  6. Effective interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate the ability to engage, enable and manage teams
  7. Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate and achieve a vision for mental health nursing services.
