About the role
You will be working in the CREST-Sim (simulation centre), which is a specialist educational facility designed to provide a dedicated and managed clinical hospital environment in which technology, simulation and skills applications are used to simulate real life clinical scenarios. The simulation centre aims to improve the level of skill and competency of staff, and in so doing improve the quality of care provided to patients.

This Nurse Educator role will be part of the Centre for Rural Education Simulation and Training (CREST) team in Western NSW LHD and specifically be based at the CREST simulation centre.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive educational curriculums and programs, including simulation education, for the clinical division of Western NSW Local Health District.

The role is based in Wellington and may be required to travel across the Health District providing education services. You will be supported with a comprehensive orientation and provided opportunities for learning growth and development.
