The Role
This role sits within the Clinical Practice and Education team within the Nursing and Midwifery Office and People and Culture Directorate. The purpose of this role is to build the capacity of the workforce so that staff have the skills, knowledge and motivation to achieve their best, positively contribute to their teams, and engage in the success of The Network.
They lead the transformation of people's experience through innovation, education and research.
This position provides comprehensive and integrated evidence based nurse education services for programs supporting the mental health portfolio. With a focus on advancing nursing practice, leading to beneficial patient, workforce and stakeholder experiences. The position works across the nursing professional continuum (students, newly registered and experienced nurses) to enhance safe quality care by developing education programs within the mental health portfolio to support clinicians across the Network.
The position provides professional leadership to Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) and senior clinicians, enabling consistent site-level implementation of education programs while ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, regulatory requirements and quality frameworks.
