About the Role
Purpose of the Position
The position will provide clinical consultation services within NSLHD and will contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates and other health care professionals and to research, evaluation and quality improvement activities within NSLHD.
Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of a recognised Australasian Specialist College or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia

- High level interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Commitment to improving the quality of junior medical officer education and training at the hospital and Strong interest in postgraduate medical education
- A strong understanding of the National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training and the role of HETI.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development, including evidence of participation in continuing medical education/ continuing professional development
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management
