What you'll be doing
The Manager, Prostheses and Inventory Systems will lead the operational implementation of prosthesis contracts across Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD).
The position will have a strong focus on quality, safety and financial stewardship, requiring understanding of Ministry of Health (MoH) and NSLHD Procurement policies, HealthShare NSW State Contracts and relevant standards. The Manager, Prostheses and Inventory Systems will optimise data-driven use of inventory systems across key procedural areas, analysing transactional and clinical trends to identify, monitor and report opportunities for driving change and supporting improvement of contractual agreements and supply strategies.
The Manager, Prostheses and Inventory Systems will provide high level technical and strategic advice to the Nurse Manager, Clinical Products and other relevant members of the Procurement and Contract Management Office.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement or health management or relevant equivalent experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of computer software including Microsoft 365 applications, Financial Management Information Systems, such as Oracle and inventory management systems.
- Demonstrated high-level analytical and problem solving skills including demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex information from various sources, prepare and present analysis reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
