Sydney Local Health District is seeking New Graduate Dietitians to be based across Balmain Hospital, Canterbury Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital!

  

About the Opportunity

In this role, you are expected to provide a high quality Dietetic service to patients/clients and carers in order to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the patients/clients of the service. This will include providing nutrition care, education, counselling, and nutrition support to inpatients and/or outpatients in a clinical area. You will be responsible for exercising professional judgement in line with years of experience and expected to be actively involved in quality assurance and service development activities within the department. This position may require you to be involved in clinical supervision of students.

Ideal Candidate

  • Must hold a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
  • Completed Nutrition and Dietetics course in the current calendar year to commence this New Graduate role in the following calendar year, with evidence of excellent academic performance (Please include the name of your final clinical placement supervisor as a referee and a transcript of academic record).

   

Interviews will be scheduled between 25 November - 29 November 2024.
