Employment type: Full Time, Temporary (up to 11.5 months)
Remuneration: Crown Clerk Grade 9/10 $125,693 – $138,510 p.a. plus super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.
About this role
The Ministerial Liaison Officer – Mental Health role is an exciting and challenging opportunity for someone with an interest in how government works and the mental health portfolio. It would suit someone keen to broaden their career experience through experience in a Minister’s office, develop an appreciation of the of mental health portfolio issues, and gain experience working in a complex, fast paced environment. The role ensures provision of high quality and timely advice on matters relevant to the mental health portfolio.

What you'll be doing
- Provide accurate, timely and professional advice and support to the Minister’s Office, the Chief of Staff, Advisor’s, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Effectively manage workflow systems and processes to ensure deadlines are clearly identified and met within a complex, high-paced environment.
- Manage briefs, including event and meeting briefs, between the NSW Ministry of Health and the Minister’s Office, ensuring requests are promptly addressed.
- Manage and facilitate the flow of information between the NSW Ministry of Health and the Minister’s Office.
- Actively identify ways in which departmental processes and liaison activities can be streamlined to ensure maximum efficiencies are met and stakeholders are supported.
