How to apply  
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:

  • Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, enabling eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Australia and at least 3 years clinical experience as a dietitian.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current nutrition and dietetic best practice, including dietetics issues specific to the mental health setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and provide dietetic assessment and interventions in a mental health setting.
  • Understanding of the principles of mental health recovery and demonstrated experience and skills in care planning and working collaboratively with consumers, families and carers.
  • Demonstrated capacity to deliver educational groups to consumers, families and carers.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with colleagues, consumers, families, carers and service partners.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Class C Driver’s License and willingness to travel for work purposes.
