You’ll be part of a highly supportive and experienced team environment, with long-standing staff who bring deep knowledge and are committed to helping new team members succeed.
About the role:
This is not your typical management position. As Medical Records Manager, you’ll take a hands-on leadership approach, stepping in to support operations across two key areas:

A typical week might see you:
- Providing direct support with medico-legal requests and complex record reviews
- Leading and mentoring staff across both teams
- Managing workforce matters, rostering, and performance support
- Troubleshooting workflow issues and ensuring service continuity across a 24/7 operation
- Collaborating with the Service Manager to drive quality, compliance, and efficiency
About you:
You’re a detail-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. You bring a balance of technical expertise and people management skills, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves to support your team.
- Strong knowledge of medico-legal requirements within a Medical Records environment
- Demonstrated experience in human resource management and staff leadership
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive clinical information
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on approach
- Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with a diverse team
- Strong listening skills and a supportive leadership style
- Confidence working across multiple operational areas
How you'll be supported:
- A highly supportive team with extensive experience and knowledge
- A collaborative environment where your leadership makes a real impact
- Opportunities to further develop your expertise in medico-legal and health information management
- Ongoing professional development and learning opportunities
