About the role

The Manager, Research and Innovation provides technical and specialist advice in the development of clinical costing practices and innovation across NSW Health; and professional advice, expertise and leadership in relation to research projects and clinical costing studies.
Health Manager level 5, starting salary from $166,678 - $186,448 plus Super, with a 40-hour work week.
What you’ll be doing
As the Manager, Research and Innovation, you will
- investigate, develop and oversee projects and action plans for concepts that show tangible benefits and efficiencies for the NSW health system in activity-based costing and activity-based management
- strategically evaluate clinical costing processes across NSW Health to meet the needs and objectives of stakeholders
- contribute to effective audit programs and governance processes that inform clear and robust decisions, demonstrate accountability and contribute to a robust data quality framework
You will work closely with the Manager, Clinical Cost Data Collections and Standards and other Clinical Costing team members.
