The Role

 

The Manager Allied Health, Drug and Alcohol is responsible for managing the workforce and portfolios relating to Allied Health team, Substance Use in Pregnancy service, and Walama Program which support wellbeing, recovery and in-custody care of patients within specialist Drug and Alcohol service.


The position is responsible for clinical governance, financial resources and strategic leadership of allied health services within Drug and Alcohol. They will have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong leadership, capacity for innovation, and ability to coordinate and implement services to ensure high quality patient care.


The Manager Allied Health is part of the Drug and Alcohol management team, and at times may be required to participate in Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) group facilitation across metro based sites.
