Deniliquin Health Service is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our dedicated team in ensuring that our healthcare facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. The role requires strong leadership and a hands-on approach to maintenance ensuring regulatory asset compliance within a healthcare setting. You'll have the opportunity to guide a skilled team, including an Administration Support Officer, Maintenance Support Officer/Gardener, Fitter, and Electrician. Your Role and Key Responsibilities

  •  Plan & Execute Maintenance Projects – Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance plans, managing service level agreements, risks and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with internal and external partners to drive innovation and problem-solving
  • Ensure Compliance & Safety – Maintain regulatory asset compliance, ensuring facilities are safe and meet industry standards.
  • Strategic Leadership & Decision-Making: Provide expert guidance on service delivery, budget management, milestone planning, and proactive problem-solving to ensure efficient and high-quality maintenance operations.
  • Risk & Change Management – Identify and manage risks to deliver sustainable and effective maintenance solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant tertiary or trade-based qualifications and/or significant experience in  preventative and corrective maintenance within health or similar industries
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
