As the Library Technician based at Wollongong Hospital, under the leadership of the Library Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing a range of library services in research, information gathering and training for staff and stakeholders across the District. As such, you may be required to travel to other sites across the Illawarra Shoalhaven region.
The library caters to the information needs of the employees of ISLHD and its Community Health Services, as well as students from affiliated Universities. As the main information centre within the hospital, the library aims to provide a quality information service to support patient care, education, and the organisation's research needs.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
