What you'll be doing
 

The physiotherapist will provide clinical services to inpatients and/or outpatients as determined by the particular role. The physiotherapist 
will provide evidence based care within a multidisciplinary and family centred context, and utilise holistic physiotherapy models of care. 

Participation is required in ongoing education, teaching, evidence based practice and quality improvement activities. 

The Level 3 Physiotherapist will contribute at an advanced level to: 


Planning, development and evaluation of physiotherapy services.

Development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures and practice guidelines for patient care.

Liaison with community based services relevant to the patient population.

This role could be filled by one person full time, or by two people as a job share arrangement. If job share, the strong preference for the complex pain hours (24hpw) is Mon-Wed, and for the orthopaedics hours (14hpw) is Thu-Fri - the days may be slightly negotiable for the right candidate
 

About You

Describe the qualities and attributes of an ideal candidate, followed by specific skills and qualifications.

  1. Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and AHPRA registration.
  2. Significant postgraduate experience and knowledge in the relevant caseload.
  3. Demonstrated advanced level of clinical skills in the relevant caseload.
  4. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, (including negotiation and conflict resolution skills in (insert caseload specifics) and proven success in multidisciplinary team settings.
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills in service delivery improvement activities and/or research.
