The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) Menopause Service Coordinator is responsible for providing expert client centred clinical advice, consultancy, leadership, and service delivery to consumers experiencing complex and/ or severe menopause symptoms. Working in partnership with ISLHD key stakeholders, NSW Ministry of Health, Agency for Clinical Innovation and other LHDs, the position is responsible for continuing to progress the development, design, implementation, coordination, and ongoing delivery of the ISLHD Menopause Service. The ISLHD Menopause Service provides safe, client centred, high-quality care to women experiencing complex and/or severe menopause symptoms. Once the ISLHD Menopause Service is implemented, this position will be responsible for the day to day running of the ISLHD Menopause Service.

Shoalhaven Hospital, located on Yuin Country, is the main acute care hospital for the Shoalhaven region, providing emergency care, medical, surgical and orthopaedic services. The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit focusing on high dependency and coronary patients, Children’s Ward and Maternity Unit, as well as a purpose-built regional Cancer Care Centre and sub-acute Mental Health Unit.

·         Working With Children Check (WWCC)

·         Current AHPRA Registration, or

·         Eligible for membership in Dietitians Association of Australia

·         Extensive post graduate experience in consultancy service relevant to specialty areas of women’s health and/ or menopause.
