What you'll be doing

The HR Administration Officer will provide an effective and efficient administration function to Workforce functions. This role will provide a comprehensive range of support services and assist the Human Resources Manager and Human Resources team to deliver exceptional, high quality customer service for clients and associated stakeholders. The HR Administration Officer will be responsible for undertaking day to day administration activities as determined by the Human Resources Manager or appropriate delegate, and exercise initiative in ensuring work is prioritised to meet the needs of the department. 
 

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrated experience working as an Administration Officer in a Human Resources environment for a large, complex organization, preferably in a Health environment, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR/Workforce processes or willingness to learn, including case management, change management and external notification processes.
  • Proven ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with proven capacity to manage concurrent activities of a diverse nature. Ability to apply legislation, regulations, instructions, or procedural guidelines relevant to all People and Culture functions and including a good knowledge of recordkeeping requirements and systems to support compliance of the State Records Act 1998
