About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
This Hospital Scientist position in the Sleep Investigation Unit will work together with other hospital scientists, nursing staff, physiotherapists and physicians in conducting a comprehensive range of sleep investigations appropriate to the diagnosis and management of patients with sleep disorders. This position is responsible for preparing for, conducting, and analysing complex physiological recordings, as well as assisting in the treatment of breathing related sleep disorders, and performing research tasks, under the direction of the Medical Director.

Ideal Candidate
- Holds a science or applied science degree from an approved university requiring three years of full time study or an equivalent qualification. Health science is preferred.
- Experience in Sleep Medicine.
- Experience with sleep recording devices and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data management
