About the role - Hospital Assistant - Grade 2

As a Hospital Assistant – Domestic Assistant (HAG2), you will provide environmental cleaning services within clients' homes, undertaking designated cleaning tasks following referrals from members of the multidisciplinary team throughout the 12-week program. Your role will contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes clients' health, wellbeing, and independence.

You will receive a comprehensive orientation to the program, your role, and the multidisciplinary team to support your success. Fleet vehicles are provided for service delivery, enabling travel to clients' homes as part of your duties.

In this role, you will work collaboratively across our service locations in Kurri Kurri, Singleton, and Muswellbrook, providing flexible support to clients while working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, community-based care.


About the Hunter Valley Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP)

The Hunter Valley Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) is a multidisciplinary service dedicated to supporting older people following discharge from hospital, helping them regain their health, independence, and confidence at home.

Our experienced team of nursing and allied health professionals works collaboratively with clients and their families to deliver person-centred, enablement-focused care. Through a 12-week transitional program, we provide restorative, slow-stream therapy designed to enhance functional ability, maximise independence, and support clients to remain safe and well in their own homes.
