Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can make a real difference? Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals are seeking Health & Security Assistants (HASA) to join our professional team. In this role, you’ll help create a safe and welcoming environment by assisting with patient care tasks, transfers, and general ward duties while ensuring smooth operations and high-quality care.

Your expertise will be vital in maintaining security and safety for staff, patients, and visitors. From responding to emergency codes and conducting patrols to monitoring security systems and managing access controls, you’ll utilise your professional skillset in a ever-changing environment.We offer permanent full-time, part-time, and casual positions with flexible 24/7 rotating rosters to suit your lifestyle.

  • You’re comfortable performing a mix of patient support, ward assistance, and security‑related duties 
 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Must hold a current Class 1A Security License with the NSW Security Industry 1997 Class 1A and current First Aid Certificate.
  • Please outline your previous experience in a large-scale Security operation.
  • Highlight the main factors driving your interest in this position and express what aspects of joining the Security & Patient Services team that motivates you the most?
  • Do you have a current Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)? if you hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
