About the opportunity
Play a key role in shaping one of Sydney’s major health precincts by bringing your gardening expertise to the beautiful Royal North Shore Hospital campus. We’re looking for a passionate Gardener who loves working outdoors, takes pride in their craft, and wants to contribute to a welcoming, well‑maintained environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
As part of our Grounds Maintenance team, you’ll help keep the campus vibrant, healthy, and inviting through a variety of horticultural and landscaping tasks. You’ll work closely with the Grounds Supervisor and maintenance team to deliver high‑quality gardening services across the site.
Key responsibilities
- Planting, pruning, shaping, and caring for trees, shrubs, and garden beds.
- Maintaining gardens, lawns, landscaped areas, and ensuring the campus stays clean and appealing.
- Performing planned and reactive gardening, irrigation, and landscaping work.
- Contributing to garden layout and landscape design ideas.
- Supporting the maintenance team with general operational needs.
What you’ll bring
- Qualifications and hands‑on experience in landscape gardening and safe manual labour.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction.
- Basic Microsoft Office and email skills.
