As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.

The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District Alcohol and Other Drugs service offers free, non-judgmental services and treatments for drug and/or alcohol use, including information and support for families. Our service offers specialist drug and alcohol doctors, nurses and allied health staff who respect the client's right to choose from a range of treatments offered with our services underpinned by a philosophy of harm reduction.

Step into a role where your work genuinely changes lives. This is your chance to join a committed Drug and Alcohol Service team supporting people engaged in the MERIT and Adult Drug Court programs across the Nepean Blue Mountains region. If you’re driven by meaningful clinical work, collaborative practice, and the opportunity to influence better outcomes for individuals navigating the justice and health systems, this role offers the impact and purpose you’re looking for.

You will provide evidence‑based drug and alcohol assessments, case management, and counselling to clients referred through MERIT and the Adult Drug Court. Your days will involve completing comprehensive assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions that support clients to stabilise, recover, and progress through their program requirements. You’ll prepare detailed court reports, progress updates, and clinical documentation that reflect each client’s journey and inform multidisciplinary decision‑making.

If you’re ready to bring your clinical expertise, professional integrity, and passion for client‑centered care to a team that values growth and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help create better pathways for people working toward change.
