About the role
Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) is seeking a Financial Operations Manager (Health Manager Level 4) to oversee the end of month and annual, internal and external reporting functions for financial matters, the coordination of the external audit function and requirements ensuring the accurate presentation of financial information.
The Financial Operations Manager is also responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal legislation and guidelines including but not limited to Accounts and Audit Determination, Ministry of Health Policy, Accounting Standards and Practices, Audit requirements and compliance with the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) Delegations Manual.
Leading and managing the Financial Operations team in the provision of financial accounting services for NNSWLHD.
This position is primarily based in Lismore; however, the location of this role may be successfully negotiated within the Northern New South Wales Local Health District sites. Applicants must reside within the Northern Rivers region.
