Finance Officer - Expression of interest


Expressions of interest are being sought from NSW Government staff wishing to apply to this Finance Officer opportunity. 


This is a secondment opportunity where you are required to have permission from your home agency to be released from your usual duties for the period.

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed finance professional for working in Financial Control team in Ministry of Health’s Financial Services & Asset Management Division. You’ll be working with highly professional team of finance analysts and support the Principal Finance Analyst for annual statutory reporting various special projects.


Crown Clerk 5/6, salary from $93,295 - $102,941 plus Super and annual leave loading

What you'll be doing

The Finance Officer provides support to the Principal Finance Analyst and undertakes a range of financial and accounting activities in an Oracle R12 and Fusion environment, including preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations, analytical reports, monitoring banking transactions and supporting for the end of financial year end and audit. The role provides insights and other analytical support services to a range of programs, projects and stakeholders to support meeting organisational and statutory objectives.
