About the Opportunity

As the Finance Business Partner, you will provide high-level strategic financial and business advice to Local Health District (LHD) Executives, Directors and Senior Leaders. This role partners closely with clinical and non-clinical leaders to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing financial performance functions including budgets, activity-based management and performance monitoring systems
  • Leading and contributing to monthly performance review processes, including preparation of integrated performance narratives
  • Supporting Facility and Program Managers to deliver effective, efficient financial and business management outcomes
  • Developing, monitoring and reporting on budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and forward projections
  • Driving continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting
  • Partnering with stakeholders to deliver sustainable financial and business strategies aligned to the LHD Strategic Plan

About You

  • Strong experience in financial management, analysis and business partnering within complex organisations
  • Proven ability to provide clear, strategic advice to Senior Leaders and clinical stakeholders
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills
  • The ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful insights
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines
