Nepean Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic Orthopaedic & Plastics Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their surgical journey—from preoperative preparation to post-operative recovery and rehabilitation. You will work closely with Registered Nurses and Medical staff to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.This is a role that will see you deliver safe, evidence-based Nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assist in the management of Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery patients, perform wound care, dressings, post-operative observations, monitor patient progress and promptly report any clinical changes whilst supporting infection control and safety protocols.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster
