About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse at Walcha MPS, you’ll deliver high-quality, individualised care to patients and residents under the guidance of Registered Nurses. Your role will involve supporting assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care across a diverse rural health environment, with a strong focus on holistic, person-centred practice.

You’ll work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless continuity of care, while communicating sensitively with patients, residents and families to advocate for their needs and support informed decision-making. This role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to develop strong clinical judgement while making a meaningful difference to people receiving care close to home.

Support and development are embedded into the role, with on-the-job guidance from experienced nurses and opportunities to grow your skills across multiple clinical areas unique to the MPS model.

 



About You
You are a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse who values teamwork, adaptability and patient-centred care. You bring:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA (medication endorsement where applicable)

  • A commitment to respectful, high-quality nursing practice within a multidisciplinary team

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients, residents and families

  • A willingness to embrace the variety and learning opportunities that come with rural nursing

  • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining professionalism and empathy
