Where You’ll Be Working
Muswellbrook Hospital is seeking committed and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurses to join our welcoming and supportive team. You will be primarily based in the General Ward, providing care to a mix of medical and surgical patients, with opportunities to expand your scope of practice into Peri-operative and Renal services as your experience and training progress.

About the Role
In this role, you will work across a flexible, rotating roster and initially focus on delivering safe, compassionate care within the General Ward. As you develop confidence and capability, supported transition into other clinical areas will be facilitated based on service needs and your interests, including:
- Peri-operative Services – Day Stay Unit
- Renal Services – Haemodialysis Day Unit
You will work closely with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and the wider multidisciplinary team, contributing to coordinated and holistic care. Strong clinical leadership and support are provided by the Nurse Unit Managers and Clinical Nurse Educator, with structured orientation, ongoing education, and access to professional development opportunities to support your growth.
About you:
We’re looking for Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about delivering quality, holistic care and contributing positively to a team environment. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
- Recent experience in an acute care setting
- A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A willingness to learn and expand your skills into Peri-operative and Renal nursing (training provided)
Previous experience in specialised areas will be highly regarded and may support earlier progression into those services.
